Seniors The Sturgis Area Community Foundation 2020 Scholarship Application is now open. One application gives you access to 42 different scholarships. Deadline is March 27, 2020. Go to: sacfscholarships.communityforce.com. Stop into Guidance if you have questions.


Students If you need to file your taxes, go to https://www.irs.gov/filing/free-file-do-your-federal-taxes-for-free, for free tax software provided by the IRS. Remember, it is your money! So file your taxes!


Community Service The organizer of Lego Club at Eastwood is in need of a few SHS helpers. Dates are 2/11, 2/18, 2/25 and 3/3, from 3:30-5:00 each evening. No need to sign up in advance, just turn up ready to have some fun and help the kids with their Legos! Stop in to the office if you have any questions.


Community Service/Eastwood Eastwood is hosting a Family Fun Night on March 18th and needs 15-20 volunteers. Responsibilities will be: Supervising carnival games, Supervising bounce houses, Helping clean up in the cafeteria and Helping in the Toddler room. The event is from 4:30-7:00, However, you could come from 3:30-5:30 to help set up or from 5:30-7:30 to tear down, or stay the entire time. Please stop by the Main Office to sign up.


Seniors Your senior quote for the yearbook is due by April 2nd. Please email them to kpedue18@sturgisps.org


Seniors Local Scholarships are now available in the Guidance Office. There are over 14 different scholarships to choose from. Most are open to all seniors but some are career specific. Don't miss this wonderful opportunity to get free money for college. Deadline for all is March 27th, so stop in today !!


Students First semester Honor Roll has been posted and copies are available for you to pick up in the Guidance Office. Come on down ...


Seniors Information on the LifeCare Ambulance Emergency Medical Service Training Scholarship is now in Guidance. If you plan a career as a Medical First Responder, EMT or Paramedic, stop in for details.


Students Information on the following college open houses or events is now in Guidance: Southwestern Michigan College - Public Service Day for Friday, Feb. 28th and Calvin College - Health Services Visit Day for Friday, Feb. 28th. Stop in for details.

Students If you were in Speech last semester and have not picked up your speech critiques from Mrs. Brand, you have until the end of the week to collect them. See her in room 131.


Students Information on Central Michigan University Leadership Camp is now in Guidance. If you have been admitted to CMU for the Fall or a junior thinking about attending CMU, stop in for details.


BPA Meeting There will be a mandatory meeting for all BPA members attending State. The meeting will be Monday, March 9 at 3:30 pm in room 165.


National Art Honor Society Second semester signups for National Art Honor Society will go through Monday, March 2nd. If you have a B or better average in your art classes and and would like to be involved in art outside of school see Mr. Erts to sign up.


A Happy Birthday Shout Out Goes to Happy Birthday to Lukas Heitger and Jonathan Dickerson and over the weekend to Koen Parson, Kayla Jones, Rylie Miller, Skylar Shull and Noah Thomas.
